Dr Timm grew up in Lake Forest and attended Lake Forest High School. She had the goal of being a veterinarian since she was five years old and made that dream a reality when she graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1985. Dr Timm has been with Lake Forest Animal Clinic since 1989 and became a partner in 2001. A member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association, Dr Timm enjoys participating in continuing education events and sharing that information to benefit her patients. She enjoys the variety of cases she sees at the clinic and likes to treat each patient as an individual with their own special needs, both physically and behaviorally.
In her free time, Dr Timm raises and trains national award winning Australian Shepherds and Border Collies. She shares her passion for happy dogs by teaching agility classes and can often be found competing in a variety of dog sports with one of her talented partners. Dr Timm is married to her Lake Forest High School classmate, Ron. They currently live in Wadsworth and share their home with four Australian Shepherds, Reese, Deuce, Spice and Lena and Border Collie, Quiz.
